The 6th season of EKL Muhu Art Farm was opened on June 1, 2020. In the summer 2015 the art festival Futu Muhu started, initiated and curated by Tiiu Rebane. Festival explores the creative possibilities of the Art Farm residency. Over the years, the event has featured more than 60 invited artists and artists' collectives, forms of the festival have been large-scale performative and musical stage performances, video programs, painting and sculpture, a symposium and as an example: this year's work festival. The festival's review exhibitions have taken place in Tallinn, Kuressaare, Paris and Krems (Austria).

This year's (work)festival - Noah Arc- started in 2019, when, with the help of artists, we moved and installed a local traditional fishing boat, ie a 13 m long KakuAmi boat, on the territory of the Residency. We hope to unveil the ship memorial on August 7, 2020.

This summer, with the greatest gratitude it will be my pleasure to introduce the performers of Futu Muhu from previous years, from world-class authors to young future makers.

I notice that the creation of art at the Art Residency, based on the local conditions, means taking a step back in time towards greater difficulties and facing direct and unexpected physical obstacles and the apocalyptic perception of the Lost Art Highway Hotel , both of which are almost obligatory attributes and prerequisites for reaching the sources of true originality.
