Rahvusvaheline graafikanädal Muhu Print toimub A. I. Kunstitalus 18-23 juuli 2016

Rahvusvaheline graafikanädal on plaanis korraldada sel suvel teist korda. Loodame sellest kujundada iga-aastase traditsiooni. Eelmisel aastal võtsid osa graafikud: Imre Bodn´ar (Ungari), Zsofia Annamaria Sztranyak (Ungari), Tibor Csabai (Ungari), Anita Vitai (Ungari), Jaf Mabro (Prantsusmaa), Piia Lehti-Teder (Soome), Tea Tikka (Soome), Britta Benno, Inga Heamägi, Lembe Ruben, Helen Tago-Mullaste, Kaija Kesa, Kalli Kalde, Lilli-Krõõt Repnau, Ly Lestberg, Külliki Järvila, Tiia Külv, Mark Antonius Puhkan, Kristina Mirjam Villand, Kelli Valk, Mari-Liis Laanemaa ja Kadri Toom. Eri põlvkonna ja nelja rahvuse professionaalsed graafikud koondusid ühiseks loominguliseks nädalaks. Helen Tago-Mullaste näitas oma workshopil uut Eestis veel vähetuntud vasesöövitustehnikat – voolusöövitust, mille käigus söövitatakse trükiplaati elektrivoolu abil. Soomlanna Piia Lehti näitas Muhus uuemat akvatintat, mida tehakse meie graafikutele seni tundmatul viisil - kompressori ja akrüüli pritsiga, see on traditsioonilisest tehnikast tervislikum ja kiirem menetlus. Teiseks Piia õpetatud tehnikaks oli foto söövitamine vaseplaadile. Professionaalsete graafikute vastastikune tehniliste oskuste, loominguliste impulsside ja maailmavaate jagamine on tõhus. Paljud graafikud saavad trükitehnikatest uue innustuse, parandavad oma tehnilisi oskusi ja saavad rikkamaks uute tehnikate võrra. Mitmed graafikud töötasid eelmisel korral hommikust hilisööni produktiivselt. Graafika nõuab spetsiifilisi ruume, materjale, vahendeid ja tingimusi, mida kõigil igapäevaselt ei ole võimalik kasutada, seega oli see paljudele hea võimalus oma loomingu tegemiseks või ka kunagi õpitu meeldetuletamiseks. Üritus lõppes osalejate ühisnäitusega „Muhu Print” Tallinnas Ungari Instituudis, mida kajastas ERR televisioonis ja raadios. Estampgraafika on olnud ja on ka edaspidi, nii meil kui ka mujal maailmas, jätkusuutlik kunstitegemise viis. Eesti tugev graafikatraditsioon on aga viimastel aastatel näidanud hääbumistendentse, seetõttu on just praegu vajalik üksteise tugi ja vastastikune tehniline toetus, mille annab graafikute omavaheline tihedam tööalane suhtlemine ning noorte julgustamine. Graafikanädalast 2015. aastal võtsid osa ka Eesti Kunstiakadeemia tudengid Kristina Mirjam Villand ja Mark Antonius Puhkan, kes olid õnnelikud, et Muhus olid graafika tegemiseks loodud nii head tingimused. Samuti said nad küsida kõigilt vanematelt kolleegidelt tehnilist abi ja nõuandeid. Meie ürituse üks eesmärkidest on näidata vähemlevinud tehnikaid ja tehnilisi uuendusi. 2016. aastal saab üheks teemadest polümeergravüür, millega saab trükkida fotot. Seda on lubanud esitleda innustunud graafika tehnikate eksperimentaator Helen Tago-Mullaste. Teiseks teemaks võiks olla litograafia uuendustega seotu. Seda võiks kutsuda esitlema mõne graafiku näiteks Hispaaniast, kus tehakse litot tänapäevasemal ja lihtsamal viisil. Nädalaga sai korda saadetud kolm korda rohkem kui kooliprogrammides sama aja jooksul. Lisaks oli ürituse juures ainulaadne ja rikastav kogenud erialane seltskond, mis oli mitmekesine ka rahvuskultuurilisest aspektist ning vabaõhu keskkond, mis oma maaliliste Muhu vaadetega andis loomiseks tugeva impulsi. Võiks olla rohkem võimalusi kunstnikel vabas keskkonnas kokku saada, luua ja kogemusi vahetada, sest see loob ka erialast ühist missioonitunnet ja eneseteadvust oma kultuurilises keskkonnas.” Zsofia Annamaria Sztranyak: „It was fantastic and professionally it was very varied and unique. I liked the idea about the cultural interaction and it worked ! Otherwise it was interesting too, that there were generational differences between the artist. The environment and the circumstances were inspired and beatiful. I hope that the hunagrian artist could show to the other artist some other new ways in the graphic.” Tibor Csabai: „ An invitation to a workshop counts as a big possibility all over the world, because the ’visitor’ can not only learn about the countries natural resources and built values, but also peer into the heart of the Hosts. And who make this experience in Estonia, I am sure that he/she will enjoy this and all the Beauty of creating between the company of smiling faces. At the end of July 4 member of the AGM /Ajkai Grafikai Műhely/ became an invitation from the A.I. Residency to participite an artists colony in Muhu. All of this meant for us a continuation in the relationship, because in the last period two of our graphic artist, Zsófi Sztranyák and Imre Bodnár introduced ourselves with they own exhibition in Tallinn /Institut Balassi/ and in the summer of 2014 Lembe Ruben and Britta Benno estonian graphic artist participate our internatoinal graphic camp in Magyarpolány. They get acquainted with the work in our workshop and with the beauty of the mountains Bakony and the lake Balaton. The hungarian AGM sorts of his artists colony 33 years, where the together working, the time spent here, furthermore the people gathered developed the character and spirit of the colony. The internal workshop signify a motivation in the creation what youcan identify just in this case. In the first estonian artist colony could we experience this. We leaved with great expectations / there was a half – day long flight journey, then a car trip and finally a comp trip,too. After this we reached the island of Muhu with the old (even that the landscape is not inspiring thatched roof houses colony and a windmill. Already from the beginning of we could palpable that our friends from north live another “relationship” with their surroundings, especially, when most of us come from the cities. They not only honor their traditions, they live their traditional built environment and inhabit it, the modern don’t distroy the old one, but also organically built together. We spent the week with continuous work, which of course we also not lived as an outsider, because in addition to the inspiring environment we had an equipped workshop, too, (in that part maybe the latest hungarian colony helped the orgnizers). One week carefree period, which is primarly used to give the individual a kind of artistic and spiritual inspiration, what we can use whole of the year. A strong artist colony characterized by strong individuals wich are coming with decided artistic goal. But it’s not a problem if we doubt sometimes in ourselves or even we feel a little bit uncertanty, and of course it’s good to be sometimes openminded to new things. We experimented and learnt new ways in the aquatint technique, we could try and insight into electro-etching technique, wich we can maybe use later in our art or we can enrich our art education metholodogy. Our balticum experiences ends in the most beautiful city in Estonia, of course Tallinn with a late night and an early morning sightseeing in the Old town, where the ancient and the modern present coexist peacefully side by side.
